The Chief Engraver of the Royal Australian Mint, Horst Hahne from Germany, an award winner in his own right, recognised and respected by mints around the world, and Wojciech Pietranick, winner of a Churchill Fellowship Award both contributed in the engraving of the final dies used to mint these magnificent coins. To fully apreciate the intricate detail and craftmanship of the engravers skill, it is worth examining the coins under a magnifying glass.


The obverse design features a weathered prospector panning for gold and epitomises the spirit of the gold rush era The reverse design depicts a Golden Eagle soaring high over the Yukon.

Each coin set is accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
The set contains one Gold Coin and two Silver Coins contained in a handsome presentation case.
